How Ripa Dental Turned Its Practice Brand Into a Vehicle Wrap
Planning a Branded Practice Vehicle near Miami, FL?
The Ripa Dental vehicle wrap brought the practice’s “Smile Creator” identity onto a Mercedes-Benz E-Class convertible. We covered the exterior in a turquoise pop-art design filled with illustrated teeth, lips, diamonds, comic-style words, and a large portrait-style face.
The finished car is unmistakably connected to dentistry without reading like a list of services. The practice identity remains visible, while the artwork gives people something they can recognize from across the street or notice in more detail up close.

The Ripa Dental custom vehicle is a fully wrapped Mercedes convertible created around the practice’s personality and “Smile Creator” message.
Rather than placing a large logo beside a phone number and several treatments, the design turns dental imagery into part of the artwork. Teeth, lips, tooth icons, speech bubbles, diamonds, hearts, and comic expressions continue across the exterior.
A branded panel behind the front seats carries the practice identity. This placement keeps the business name visible while leaving the doors and hood open for the larger artwork.

Who Designed the Ripa Dental Vehicle?
We developed the wrap around three main elements: the Mercedes convertible, the “Smile Creator” message, and the practice’s bold visual personality.
The artwork could not be treated like a flat poster. The illustrated face had to fit the long door, the hood message had to work around the Mercedes emblem, and the smaller graphics had to fill the spaces around mirrors, lights, handles, and wheel arches.
That is where custom wrap design becomes different from designing for a screen or printed page. Every part of the layout has to work on the actual vehicle, including the areas where the artwork bends, stops, or continues onto another panel.
What Graphics Were Used on the Ripa Dental Car?
The wrap combines several large focal points with smaller repeating graphics.

The Vehicle Model and Coverage Format
The project used a Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet. Its long doors and low profile gave the main illustration enough room to remain visible, while the open roof kept the light-colored interior part of the finished look.
The wrap covers the main painted exterior surfaces, including the hood, bumpers, fenders, doors, mirror caps, windshield surround, and rear panels.
This project depends on full coverage because the turquoise background connects the entire composition. A partial treatment would leave breaks between the larger illustrations. The difference between a full wrap, partial coverage, and vehicle lettering is easy to see on a car where the background is part of the artwork.
Colors and Brand Assets Used on the Build
Turquoise creates the main background across the Mercedes. Lime green and yellow form larger color sections along the doors, while pink, red, white, and black appear throughout the smaller illustrations.
“Smile Creator” carries the main message. “Smile,” “Dentist,” “Cool,” “Super,” “Wow!” and “OMG!” appear in smaller speech bubbles and comic-style shapes.
The design also includes repeated lips, teeth, tooth icons, diamonds, hearts, crowns, and lightning bolts. These elements connect the car to dentistry without adding long blocks of promotional copy.
How Do You Make a Dental Vehicle Wrap Readable?
A detailed wrap does not have to be visually quiet, but it needs a clear order.
For the Ripa Dental vehicle, “Smile Creator” is the first message. The illustrated face and “Smile” bubble support it. Smaller words and dental graphics become visible once someone gets closer to the car.
This keeps the wrap readable without removing the personality that makes the project different. The main message can be understood quickly, while the smaller details reward a longer look.
Message Hierarchy From the Side, Front, and Rear
Each angle has its own focal point.

From the side, the illustrated face, “Smile” bubble, and “Smile Creator” wording take priority. The long door gives these graphics room without reducing them to small details.

From the front, “Smile Creator” becomes the main feature on the hood. The Mercedes grille, emblem, and headlights create a natural frame around it.

The rear panels use smaller dental illustrations and repeated colors. They continue the theme without trying to repeat the complete side layout.
Keeping the Practice Identity Visible
The design does not rely on an oversized phone number or website across the doors. Instead, the practice identity appears on the branded panel behind the front seats, with an additional social handle positioned along the side of the cabin.
That information remains available without interrupting the larger artwork. Someone who notices the car can identify the practice, while the main exterior still reads as one complete pop-art composition.
How We Installed the Full Pop-Art Wrap
We applied the printed wrap across the Mercedes panel by panel, aligning the larger artwork before finishing the smaller transitions around the door edges, mirrors, lights, wheel arches, and bumper openings.
The illustrated face and “Smile Creator” graphics needed careful placement because a small shift would change how they met the next body line. The repeated teeth, lips, and comic shapes gave us more flexibility in the narrower areas where a large image would not fit cleanly.
With graphics covering an entire vehicle, the artwork still has to respect the shape of the car. The grille, headlights, wheels, trim, and open cabin remain clearly defined rather than disappearing inside the pattern.
What Makes This Healthcare Vehicle Branding Different?
The Ripa Dental project does not use the calm, minimal look often associated with healthcare branding. It is bright, detailed, and intentionally playful.
That works because the design stays focused on one clear idea. “Smile Creator” connects the illustrated face, teeth, lips, and comic graphics to the practice without turning the car into a moving treatment menu.
The wrap has personality, but the dental connection never gets lost. Every major visual element supports the same message.
From Installation to the Ripa Dental Reveal
After installation, the finished Mercedes was photographed during a daytime drive and presented at an evening reveal with the practice team and guests.
The daytime images capture the full side layout, open roof, and smaller details around the hood and headlights. At the reveal, the bright colors remained visible under evening lighting while guests gathered around the car for photos.
The two settings show different sides of the project. On the road, the larger graphics carry the design. Up close, people can see the smaller words, dental illustrations, and panel-to-panel details.

10What Local Practices Can Learn From This Build
The Ripa Dental vehicle shows that a practice does not have to remove its personality to look professional.
A few choices keep the design focused:
Give the vehicle one main message
Use smaller graphics to support that message
Fit the artwork to the vehicle instead of forcing it into rectangular sections
Keep the business identity visible without letting contact information dominate
Choose a coverage format that supports the complete idea
The right approach depends on the brand. For Ripa Dental, a bold full wrap made more sense than a restrained logo-and-lettering layout.

Planning a Branded Vehicle for a Local Practice
Before the first design conversation, gather a high-resolution logo, brand color codes, the vehicle year, make, and model, and a short list of what patients should notice first. It also helps to know whether more vehicles may follow. Having these details ready lets the first call focus on design direction, coverage, and timing.
