OFFICIAL VEHICLE BRANDING PARTNER OF MISS USA

Custom Wrap Design served as the Official Vehicle Branding Partner of Miss USA for the organization’s 75th anniversary in Miami. CWD had seven days to adapt the approved artwork, produce and print the graphics, and install them across three 56-passenger buses and one Sprinter van prepared to transport Miss USA and Miss Teen USA participants and VIP guests.

The short project video beside this text follows the fleet in order: the bare buses in our shop, printing, installation, the finished buses and Sprinter, and one of the buses in service at the event. No sound, no stock footage, just the work.

A SEVEN-DAY WINDOW TO BRAND FOUR EVENT VEHICLES

We were given seven days to brand four vehicles for Miss USA’s 75th anniversary in Miami. Three 56-passenger buses and one Sprinter van needed to be ready in time to carry participants and VIP guests, and the event date was set long before the work reached us.

Our first job was to look at all four vehicles together. Three of them were full-size passenger coaches, and the fourth was a Sprinter, closer to a commercial van in size. The buses and the Sprinter are shaped very differently, so we knew from the start that one layout would not work across both, and we planned two sets of artwork while keeping the fleet visually matched.

From there, we worked artwork preparation, printing, vehicle access, and installation into a single week rather than treating each as a separate stage. The same team handled every part, so the design moved from our screens to finished vehicles without waiting on outside vendors. The date the vehicles were needed set the pace for everything we did.

WHY MISS USA SELECTED CUSTOM WRAP DESIGN

CWD was recommended by existing clients who were involved in organizing the event. They had worked with us before, and they put our name forward based on the quality of that work, our experience with complex projects, our production capability, and our record of delivering on tight schedules.

That recommendation led to our role as the Official Vehicle Branding Partner of Miss USA. It carried real weight because it came from people who had already seen our team and production capabilities firsthand.

For a national event, the people organizing it needed to know the work would be right the first time, and our clients could speak to that. The vehicles were carrying participants and guests during the event, so the graphics had to be finished on schedule and hold up both in person and in photos, which raised the bar on who could take the work.

HOW WE ADAPTED ONE MISS USA DESIGN TO THREE BUSES AND A SPRINTER

A layout that works on a 56-passenger bus cannot simply be resized for a Sprinter. The two formats have different proportions and different physical features, so we rebuilt the artwork for each one while holding the fleet together as a single look.

On the buses, we placed the design across a long horizontal body broken up by passenger doors, rows of windows, and wheel openings. The Sprinter gave us a shorter, taller surface with its own doors, handles, and tighter panel breaks. Where the logo sits and how large it reads had to change with the vehicle, since a graphic seen from across a street reads differently than one viewed up close. We also kept required lights, vents, and markings clear as we positioned each element.

The same challenge shows up in larger fleets, where the goal is to keep graphics consistent across different vehicles without forcing one layout onto every body style.

A real adaptation around a door

On the Sprinter, the side door handle and the panel break behind it cut straight through the artwork area. Instead of letting a seam land on a face or a logo, we positioned the Official Vehicle Branding Partner mark and the surrounding graphic so every important element sits on a clean panel and the door still opens without disturbing the design.

Handled well, four vehicles in two formats still read as one Miss USA fleet.

FROM APPROVED ARTWORK TO INSTALLED VEHICLE GRAPHICS

We handled artwork adaptation, printing, and installation as one connected process, all inside the same week.

01

Artwork came first

We rebuilt the approved Miss USA design for the buses and the Sprinter so it would sit correctly on each body. For a mixed fleet on a set date, this stage decides the rest, since files that are wrong for a vehicle cost days we did not have.

Printing followed

We produced the graphics for all four vehicles together, which helps color and detail stay consistent from one vehicle to the next.

Then came installation

We applied the finished graphics to the three buses and the Sprinter, aligning the layout so the fleet matched across every vehicle. Artwork adaptation, printing, and installation are all part of our commercial vehicle graphics work, and keeping them under one roof let us move quickly without handing the job between separate vendors.

Once the vehicles were finished, we reviewed the graphics across the fleet to confirm the look held up before the fleet was ready for its event role.

BEFORE & AFTER

The buses arrived as plain black coaches. Here is how they looked in our shop before any graphics went on, and after installation, one in the black and gold 75th anniversary design and one in the magenta Miss USA Miami design.

THE FINISHED MISS USA FLEET

The finished fleet did what the event needed. The three buses and the Sprinter presented one coordinated Miss USA identity, and the design stayed recognizable as it moved across two very different vehicle formats. Seen together or one at a time, the vehicles read as part of the same group rather than four separate wraps. A branded fleet that moves and parks together keeps the same brand visible wherever the vehicles go, which is a large part of why a coordinated fleet is worth building for an event.

With the graphics in place, the buses and the Sprinter were ready for their role carrying Miss USA and Miss Teen USA participants and VIP guests. The work also gave Miss USA and our own team a real set of finished-vehicle photography and video, which can be used again in marketing long after the events.

More than any single vehicle, this project shows what we can do with a mixed event fleet on a tight schedule. We were given a seven-day window to prepare the four vehicles.

WHAT THIS PROJECT SHOWS EVENT AND FLEET TEAMS

For a team planning its own event or fleet work, a project like this answers a practical question. The hard part is rarely one wrap. It is handling several vehicles, in different shapes, to the same standard, on a date that was fixed before the artwork arrived. A national brand bringing an event to Miami often needs a local partner that can turn the work around quickly and be reached in person if something changes on site, and that is the role we filled here.

For businesses running several vehicle types, our fleet branding work applies the same visual consistency across an ongoing commercial fleet. This project also reflects the scale of our commercial vehicle wrap work in Miami, from single vehicles to full fleets.

  • One design adapted across large passenger buses and a smaller Sprinter
  • Fixed-date planning built backward from a deadline that will not move
  • Artwork preparation, printing, and installation carried as one connected scope
  • Consistent presentation across very different body formats, all within one project schedule
  • Miami production for organizations bringing a national event to South Florida

OUR REVIEWS & PROJECTS

PLANNING VEHICLE BRANDING AROUND A FIXED EVENT DATE?

Planning vehicle branding around a date that cannot move puts most of the weight on the details up front. The clearer the picture, the more accurately we can schedule the work.

A few details help us plan around your event.

  • Event city and date
  • Vehicle types and quantities
  • Artwork status
  • Vehicle access date
  • Required completion date

Vehicle count, graphic coverage, artwork readiness, and installation timing all affect commercial wrap costs, so those details help us scope a fixed-date project accurately. With that information in hand, we can plan the schedule backward from your date and tell you what is realistic. Send us the vehicle list, artwork status, event date, and deadline so we can review the scope and plan the work around the event schedule.
