This Lamborghini Revuelto arrived at our Miami shop with a finish that already had a lot going on. White bodywork transitions into deep purple, neon yellow highlights the lower aero, and exposed black carbon adds contrast across the roof and rear.

Our work focused on protecting those surfaces with carefully fitted paint protection film. The challenge was keeping every color, edge, and material looking the way it should while working around the Revuelto’s sharp body lines, deep vents, and low aerodynamic panels.

What Service Did We Install on the Lamborghini Revuelto?

We installed clear paint protection film across the areas included in the project. Coverage extended from the front of the car to vulnerable side and rear sections, including the hood, mirrors, rockers, and complex aero surfaces.

This was not a straightforward film installation on a single paint color. The PPF had to sit cleanly over white, purple, neon yellow, and exposed carbon without changing the contrast between them. Each area was handled according to its shape, finish, and position on the car.

Why This Revuelto Was Worth Protecting Early

The Revuelto sits low to the road, especially around the front splitter and side skirts. Those areas are among the first to collect stone chips, road debris, and marks from regular driving.

That mattered even more on this car because the neon yellow details run along several of its lowest surfaces. Damage in those areas would be easy to notice against such a bright color. PPF gives those panels a replaceable layer of protection while leaving the design visible underneath.

How Do You Protect Revuelto Carbon and Aero Panels?

The Revuelto combines painted surfaces, exposed carbon, recessed vents, and sharply angled aero pieces. Film cannot simply be stretched across those changes as if the car were one continuous surface.

We planned each section separately, following the shape of the panel and placing edges where they would remain difficult to see. On exposed carbon, the film needed to protect the surface without making the weave look cloudy or disconnected from the surrounding finish.

The front splitter, side skirts, rear deck, and lower rear aero required extra attention. These areas include narrow sections, abrupt angles, and several points where purple, yellow, and black meet.

Handling Sensors, Cameras, and Lights

Sensors, cameras, lights, and surrounding trim were accounted for before each section of film was installed. The cuts around these components needed to look clean while leaving every system unobstructed.

The same care was needed around the Revuelto’s lighting shapes. Rather than allowing film edges to cross visible lines, we followed the housings and adjacent bodywork so the protection remained discreet.

What Product and Coverage Were Used on This Build?

This project used clear PPF selected to preserve the finish already on the car. It protected the surfaces without replacing the white-to-purple color transition, neon yellow accents, or exposed carbon details.

Coverage included the front clip, hood, mirrors, side sections, lower rockers, and selected rear areas. The car’s mixed materials and complex shapes determined how each piece was fitted.

Different vehicles and driving habits call for different levels of protection. The most useful PPF coverage for a high-value car depends on which surfaces face the greatest exposure and how often the car is driven.

Model Context and What Makes the Revuelto Different

The Revuelto’s design leaves very few simple panels. Even its larger surfaces are interrupted by creases, vents, lighting, or aerodynamic elements.

That made the installation more involved than the car’s size might suggest. The doors, rear quarters, front fascia, and engine-cover area each required a different approach.

Intake, Surface Review, and Project Planning

Before installation began, we reviewed the condition of the surfaces being protected and mapped the different finishes across the car.

That initial review helped us identify where film could be tucked, where a visible edge might be unavoidable, and which panels needed to be completed first. It also allowed the installation to be planned around the doors, vents, exposed carbon, and low bodywork without repeatedly moving through finished areas.

Proper preparation before wrap or PPF installation is particularly important on a car with this many edges and material changes. Any residue left near a vent, seam, or lower aero piece can affect how securely the film settles.

Patterns, Edges, and Multi-Finish Transitions

One of the most important parts of this project was protecting the car without interrupting its color layout.

Installer fitting film where purple bodywork meets exposed carbon

The white front section flows into purple along the sides, while neon yellow traces the front splitter, rockers, and rear aero. Black carbon and darker sections create another layer of contrast. PPF edges placed carelessly across those transitions would have been immediately noticeable.

Installers working film edges around the rear aero and vents

We divided the installation according to the actual geometry of the car. Larger sections were fitted across open surfaces, while tighter patterns were used around vents, wheel arches, lights, and aero details. This kept the film aligned with the design instead of adding new visual lines.

Why PPF Made More Sense Than a Color Change

A vinyl color-change wrap is useful when the goal is to give a vehicle a different exterior appearance. That was not the priority here.

This Revuelto already had a distinctive combination of colors and materials. The purpose of the project was to preserve that look, especially across the most exposed areas, rather than cover it with a new finish.

Clear PPF allowed the white, purple, yellow, and carbon surfaces to remain part of the car’s identity while adding protection where it was needed.

How Did the Final Revuelto Look?

Once the installation was complete, the protection did not compete with the design. The white front remained bright, the purple retained its depth, and the neon yellow details continued to stand out along the lower body.

The exposed carbon also remained clear rather than looking muted beneath the film. From a normal viewing distance, the car still read as one connected design instead of a collection of separately protected panels.

That was the goal of the project. The PPF added protection without making the car look newly covered.

Owner Handoff, Care, and Warranty Records

After installation, the film needs time to settle fully around edges, vents, and curved sections. We reviewed the initial care period and the areas the owner should watch as the PPF cured.

Regular hand washing, gentle drying, and avoiding harsh automated brushes will help maintain both the film and the finish beneath it. Keeping the installation details and warranty information together also makes future inspection or panel replacement easier. Our wrap and PPF care and warranty information covers what owners should keep on file after a project like this.

What This Revuelto Required From the Installation

The challenge was not simply applying film to an expensive car. The Revuelto combines narrow aerodynamic pieces, deep openings, exposed carbon, and several contrasting finishes, all with little room for an imperfect transition.

We planned each panel carefully, controlled the edges, and inspected the work under different lighting. White, purple, yellow, and carbon surfaces reflect light differently, so a transition that disappears in one area may stand out in another. These details are central to evaluating wrap and PPF installation quality, especially on an exotic vehicle with such complex bodywork.

What Made This Revuelto Project Different

Unlike a standard color change or front-end PPF installation, this Revuelto combined exposed carbon, neon lower accents, and white-to-purple transitions across a highly sculpted body. Each finish required a different approach to coverage, edges, and visual continuity.

It now joins the other custom and exotic vehicle projects completed in our Miami shop, while remaining a distinctly different build.
